currently a BIG fan of Georgia idk why. i've always been a serif enjoyer myself. sometimes though if it gets dire i'll switch to Lucinda (or another typewriter-looking font), switch to a beige background, and pretend i'm one of the beatniks

19. the most interesting topic you’ve researched for a fic

i've always been fascinated by botany in general but learning a smidge of TCM for this fic specifically has been fun :3c especially learning not only which plants are native to china but which ones are specifically SOUTHERN plants. like i'm gonna have ma huang (source of ephedrine, a stimulant) in here but zhuang huilin's not very happy about that bc she'll have to hike aaaall the way up north to go get more. "but wouldn't the local apothecaries have it" no they'd have local stimulants. "she's a goddess can't she open up heaven's medicine cabinet" it all got toasted during tgcf act v. luckily she had some in her pocket but that was HER stash :(

🤩 Who is your favorite character to write?

Right now I’ve been writing a ton of Achilles, especially Achilles Hadesgame so perhaps he’s my favorite? His voice is so gentle but underneath he’s just an iceberg of emotion and passion and I’m just—*clenches fist* I also had a lot of fun writing Orpheus Hadesgame in chapter 1 of Where The Dead Forget and I’m excited I’ll get to have a few more opportunities to write him again later in the story. There’s also another Iliad character whomst I’ve enjoyed experimenting with who will also appear in WTDF… it’s a surprise tho!

🤯 What’s a genre you struggle with as a writer (ex. romance, action, etc.)?

This isn’t a genre per se but I had to write a sword fight once and it was SO HARD for me, I really struggled with everything about it: the choreography, the vocabulary, trying to keep it interesting and tense but not confusing… and that’s BAD when my fics mostly involve characters who are/were soldiers fighting in wars lmao. I have some battle scenes planned for the future so hopefully I can get better at it 😔

Umm actual bystanders yes. If it is other gangoons or corpos in the target area? Probably not...........sorry random employee but you chose to work for evil inc can't help if you get caught in the crossfire.

6. How far would they go to save someone they love? Would they sacrifice themselves? Others?

They would go to the ends of the earth to save each other up to and including war crimes and self-sacrifice yes. V is probably more likely to sacrifice himself to save others whereas Bea would...usually err on the side of pragmatic but does have a good self-preservation instinct.

That is to say, she would do anything for the ones she cares about and those that are mission critical. Everyone else? Eh, depends just how much risk is involved.

25. Have they tore someone to shreds with their bare hands? With their teeth?

V hasn't but BOY HAS BEA EVER.
